Just got a call from my buddy/customer Steve Benyo, owner/operator of the Team Saline multi record setting 2003 Cobra land speed car. They set a new track record at Maxton this weekend for Land Speed...233+ mph!!! Record was previously held by a 500+ CI turbo viper that ran on alcohol, they broke the record on race gas!!! Steve and his crew have busted their a$$ over the last few years. They have been through a lot to get the car to this point and deserve a lot of credit for their accomplishments! Hats of to them and I am sure this is just the beginning of another year of record breaking runs
