90 GT price and repair help

well found a 1990 GT for a decent price i think. it needs the ac hooked up. it comes with the compressor and and bracket but not the parts going thru fire wall. and besides the couple obvious repairs to the pass side door alignment and ground effect, new front bumper and fogs. and interior cleaning.

mods are:

It has the following parts:
Newer radiator and tranny
new mac longtube headers
new bosch 02 sensors
mac offroad h-pipe
flowmaster american thunder catback
new ford racing hi torque mini starter
new battery
new alternator
I also removed the a/c, smog, and air silencer

The car has a clear ohio title.

so what amount of cash you all reccomend spending on it. and doesnt the 87-92 have either forged pistons or rods?

Id say somewhere in the $1200-2000 range depending on what it looks like in person & how it runs.

$1,500. There are 2 lines you'll need for the AC, the canister that mounts to the firewall below the heater core hoses, the bracket that holds the AC Pump (This will move the power steering pump down and hold it as well) as well as the condenser (Mounts in front of the radiator if it's not still on the car). Pistons were forged, but that's really no big deal. Also, you'll neww a new set of wheels as those are just fugly!

:) the wheels will do until a 5 lug swap is done....no since spending $ on 4 lug wheels.

im really wanting a fox right now....since ive hade 94-04 but never had a fox.

If everything was good (floors,front rails,quarters) I'd say max. 12-1400.

i said close to it. i had my last one painted for 1200....


also my budget is a little over 2k so i was figuring that too.

Wow that's a good deal! I had that much in material for the Notch I painted last year.

notch was a bad ass ride....two paint colors and alot more work than repainting a car stock color.

my $1200 paint job was prepped, 2-3 coats of base and 2-3 coats of clear.


not to mention im not needing a show car,

Car is prob. worth 1500 - 1800 being mass air and black int. But is is a GT so that depreciates it a couple hundred
