    Need some help!

Ok, well i just went out and pulled my bellhousing/clutch/pressue plate/throwout bearing out of the car
but i noticed something odd when everything was still bolted down, that the fingers on the pressure plate were bent... some up some down, prolly about 16th of an inch or so, enough that i could run my finger around them and it was very noticeable, so i figured that was what was wrong with my car the clunk clunk clunk when revving the car, and the shifting problem... but when i took the pressure plate/clutch disk out, and looked at the pressure plate.. they werent bent anymore.. they are all even now ??????

Btw the problem im talking about is when i revved the car up it would make 3 quick clunk clunk clunk sounds, then go away, but come back everytime i revved it up.. when it gets into the higher rpm range its gone.(could this be the slop in the throwout bearing? seen below)And when i press the clutch pedal down, shift and let off the clutch pedal the car jerks or bucks (i heard this is from the heat marks on the pressure plate / flywheel)

How does something like that happen!? or what causes something like that.
Also i took some pictures, so tell me if you guys see anything wrong with my flywheel/clutch disk/pressure plate/ or throwout bearing..
Keep in mind all of this stuff has about 500-1000 miles on it...

This is what kind of worries me, the throwout bearing has a deep cutout on it, that goes all the way around it (can clearly be seen in the picture) some parts are deeper than the others..
What causes something like this, and can this have anything to do with my problem?
    Thanks Corral!!!

Your pressure plate was not bolted down evenly and thats why the fingers felt uneven and when you removed it they sprung back into place. Keep an eye on them when you either reinstall or put a new one in. If everything is tight they will all be even. That also could have been your clunk!!! But that bearing is deff shot!

Two things here. Corral is a couple sites >>> that way! Why are you running that clutch with a stock car? That's the jerking you are getting. The clunking is probably exhaust hitting somewhere.

Boost - so what you're saying is that when we installed this pressure plate it was bolted down unevenly and thats what caused the fingers to be bent like that, and caused premature wear to all my other components?

    Thanks for the input guys!!

YES!!! That clutch is for drag racing. Not street use. Judging by the way it looks, it was not broken in properly either. As per manufacturers directions.
