I used to have an 06 V6, I had 20" TSW Thruxton's on it. 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. Wheels were gunmetal in the middle and had a huge 4" polished lip in the rear and it looked amazing. Had no problems fitting 20's and no problems with the rubber either. I would definately go 20's whatever you do. They look awesome on the newer model mustangs in my opinion. I will try and dig up a pic of mine with the wheels on it.

sweet n thanks man! when u put those 20's on compared to the stock wheels, did u notice a difference in performance n if so how much?

Here is one pic I found. As for performance issues: The only differences I noticed was with the 20's and the lower profile tires you are obviously going to feel alittle more of the smaller bumps here and there but it wasn't anything really bad. If you put some decently wide rubber on the rears you will notice some better traction out of the hole and also better grip around bends. I loved the look of the 20's so I wasnt really worried about the minimal if any performance I was going to lose with them.

looks good.. yea i figured that, i was just wonderin with the 20's if my car would run like a dog but i aint really worried to much about the perfromance either, my cars more for show as long as it aint to bad...n i want to get the 10'' inch width in the back n 8.5" in the front.. where'd u get ur rims n wat did u pay?

Found mine on ebay actually. Got the set for $800 if I remember correctly.

damn thats cheap, i want either chrome rims or black w/ the polished lip n 4 chrome there like easily $1400! wat color is ur car? i see ur description says u got black rims...i cant decide between black or chrome wheels 4 my black car

I have an 03 Cobra now. All black 18" saleen wheels on it. With the cobra I had to go with extra wide rubber so I needed to stick with the 18" wheels... For your car, I would definately go black w/polished lip. It will look sweet and you wont be dissapointed.

yea its cheaper to! i asked everyones oppinion n i got like an even amount of votes for chrome as i did black but some ppl told me not to get black bc i have red stripes on my car n if i didnt have them on there then the black ones would look good. i want the black rims i have posted on page 5 in this thread

I think the black with polished would look sweet on your car even with the red, but something else you could do is put the black with polished lip wheels on and then put on those red wheel striped they make on the outer lip of the wheel. That might look even better, dunno...lol
