    Well, 99-00 had 360hp/440tq (?) and 01-04 had 380hp/450tq. AND, 03/04 had the 9-thread 2V PI heads.

    OK...so assuming one is going to get a tune anyway...the 9-thread plug holes are the most important upgrade.

    That 99 is all you...

    lol i'm a little scared to do them myself..once i hit about 100k miles, i'm gonna have a tech here at work change my plugs.

    I heard the trick to aluminum heads is getting them hot then the plugs come right out. Though that info came from a ricer driver.

    NEVER take instructions from a Ricer..HAHAHA!!!

    Probably be easier to strip when re installing the plugs too if the heads are fairly warm..

    wait your scared to change the plugs??

    these things blow out of the earlier motors, nothing really you can do, its a common problem....just change them and make sure you tighten them good...
