    tire mounting questions?

    i was just wondering where your best deal is / or where your get your dirtbike/atv or motorcycle tires changed? what do you guys normally pay?

    its a buddy of mine i can ask him what he charges so it will give you an idea i know he does alot of them check out their site he makes some pretty cool rides

    aight $10 isnt a bad price. im just kicking it around if its worth pay upwards of $2-3g for a tire machine i gotta make sure the business is there first lol

    I think Miller's Yamaha charges $25 if you don't buy it there. Their tires are marked up like 200% over anywhere on the internet. So, it's worth it to pay the shipping plus the $25. It's still cheaper than buying straight from them.

    That is if you can handle the attitude when you take a tire in with a Motorcycle Warehouse sticker on it.

    Are you going to sell tires, too Dan?

    I would say hold off a lil while til you build a customer base up a lil. I mean I could be wrong but, thats alot of change to spend and not do enough tires to pay for it in the first year. I would start looking at garage closings. Seems to be enough of them lately to find a good used one.

    very good point. i was fortunate enough to be able to use another shop's tire machine for a while. i didn't think i would change as many tires as i do now. took me a while and shopped around. but ended up buying a new one. i don't do the volume like a tire shop but didn't want the hassle of used broken equipment. mine is off brand but have had good luck with this so far.

    im not gonna sell them. but i will mount then remountly cheap and balance im gonna work a deal with M&M leather we was discusing it saturday to do a special deal if they buy the tire from them ill mount and balance a street bike tire for lets say $15-20. i know the business is there its just to get the word out. dealerships rape people hard. i know i been at everyone of them and been factory trained through them.. i know i can do the jobs cheaper and i stand by my work. Scott knows my prices are ATLEAST 50% cheaper than any dealer

    Yes he is VERY cheap and ALWAYS gets the work done when he says he will have it done or earlier!
