sorry i meant to write V6s, i am looking at a very lightly hit v6 mustang and thinking about buying it and parting it out but trying to make a list of what i can sell things for to see if it will be worth my time. I always wanted to take a stab at this buying and parting out and want my first experience to not bite me in my a$$

Yes the v6 had a T5. In 99 they changed it to a speed sensor instead of a gear. But the new t5 in the 99+ holds 300 ft pd torque compared to the 96 to 98 which was only 260 I think? You can switch the tail shaft in the 99
+ to a 96 to 98 so you can use the gear and still have correct speedo with more torque capacity.

what kind of cash would a v6 motor take in? 200?
What year is the car. If its 99+ I need some parts ASAP! So buy it. If its a 96 to 98 v6 it will be harder to part out. Everyone wants the split port stuff from the new v6
Its a 2000? Part the motor out too. The heads go for about 150 to 200 bucks. How many miles? You can sell the intakes for porting tranny for t5 swaps. Go on v6power.net. People always want stuff for t5 swaps and split port swaps. Most common in the v6.Originally Posted by scott5

Buy it please! Lol ive been looking for a t5 wiring harness forever! You can sell the brakes for 5 lug conversion too. I also need door locks! Ill also take the t5 tranny mount. Lol buy that car ASAP!
