Did anybody ever hear of spraying head gaskets with copper spray? People on the v6 forums are saying its a good idea helps the seal and what not. I was thinking they might be crazy but idk. What you guys think?

Depending on the gasket, it can help, or kill them. Always follow the manufacturers recomendations for gaskets as that give them the best chance to seal. Most Fel-Pro are dry for example. With copper HG's, the spray is needed, and it seems that guys are also using it with MLS gaskets. With the MLS gaskets, they leak anyway in boosted apps ;)
I have 2000 fel pros since I switched to 2000 heads on a 97 block. So basically don't use it. Lol.
that is a big thing for guys that run steel shim or full copper gaskets, its real puprose is to try and seal the water jackets a little better. But now there is really no use because of all the better head gaskets (titans, sce, etc) have provisions to keep them sealed..
2015 A6 Mustang GT that so far has gone 9.48@147 but still the fastest prochargerd S550 in the world aside from Tim Essick's!

When i raced a 428 CJ we used steel shim head gaskets and sprayed them with the copper, but as Tim pointed out with all the new stuff, ie; cometics and so on its not needed
