    project: splitport swap w/ pics

    well im in the middle of my split port swap. im going for a port and polish lower manifold, windstar upper, and splitport port matched heads. after this id like to see somewhere around 300 hp/tq. Ill update pics along with the progress.

    getting accessories back on while i wait for a few parts..... i still need the lower manifold fuel rail and misc stuff.

    im going to space the a/c out a little to make the belt a tad tighter. its not on in this pic



    instead on running procharger bypass im going to run a hks bov


    heres the new windstar upper. kit came with everything. TB,IAC relocation, every nut and bolt. awesome kit!!

    can i bolt that intake on the 99 Sixxer brian???

    yes last time i went it did terrible!!! haha wasnt happy thats why i did this. i put down 230hp 280 torque. it peaked at 3500rpm and drop off from there. thats why the single ports suck! lol now my torque should peak at 4500 and power should keep climbing. after i get it finished im going to need a new tune since its flowing more air and no more egr so hopefully my numbers will be better

    no more than just the intake. basically the whole conversion kit. including TB pipeing IAC relocation EGR all the bolts and more...

    it was acutally $430. im just tryin to rip him off lol

    More progress

    got everything back together just need the manifolds on...



    heres the new port and polished lower with IMRC and egr removed







    new TB







    hopefully this weekend it will be all finished up ready for tune!!!!!!!

    keep your fingers crossed for breaking 300!!!!

    lol if i push more than 11 or 12 psi i might break somthing hahaha i cant afford that hahahahahahaha im at 11 psi now at about 5800 rpm
