Its really easy. you could do it your self. I got a spray can of tint at Franks auto supermarket in greensburg. Was about $10 a can. Take out the lights, clean them real good, TAPE OFF THE REVERSE LIGHTS, add spray. The only tough part is gettin the same shade on both taillights. It was for me cause I did 6 lenses for the same car. I'd suggest sittin them side by side and passing over both at the same time.

Yeah just spray it on the outside of the lenses. If 1 gets darker than the other just try and match the other to it. If you ca spray paint you can do it, just stay back like a foot from it and you won't get any runs.

its called vht niteshade. you can purchase it at any napa etc for around 10 bucks as stated above. if you mess up buy spray OOPS, i know they sell it at pep boys but you just spray the shit out of each taillight and the vht just melts off, you just wipe with a towel an boom your done.

I saw a tinted set of tailights on Jpers ride. He should of hooked some one up with them before he traded it in on here. Never really heard of spray tint before. I wouldn't mind doin it to my stock ones, or possibley bought someone elses.

haha. I dunno about asking jeff to do that. Remember, he only paints for the "stars".

But seriously, its not that hard. I've spray tinted about 6 sets of tailights, all at different darkness levels and all different vehicles. Make sure you put some type of clear on them, otherwise it has a kind of strange texture to it. Plus the clear will help it from fading, and scratching etc.

i used the vht tint on mine and i think they turned out great. like was said, just clean them after. i did them outside side by side. if you put on each coat lightly its no problem matchin them up.

im not sure where to find it though. i looked around places in my area and couldnt find it. a lot of places carry vht products but not the tint. i ended up ordering online.

I'd do them on a sat. It should only take an hour. it only takes 20 min just to spray it maybe 10 min to prep em and an about 15 min to bake them. the only thing thats hard is to find out how dark someone wants them.
