    The tint I had was gloss black paint mixed with clear coat..The guy just sprayed the lights..It turned out great!

    yours did look awfully sick..along with the painted part of the deck lid..

    I used the Night shades on my 3rd brake light on my F150, twice. I found wet sanding to be the missing ingredient after screwing up the first time. Wet sand the lens to get them a little scuffed. Very light coat of paint, it'll look gray and spotty, let dry. Once dry, lightly wet sand. Repeat that about 7 times or until you get your desired tint. Add clear coat, wet sand, add another, wet sand. I keep it waxed and it hasn't faded in 3 years.

    Testor's also makes a spray tint, I believe it's called window tint. If you're ever in a pinch you can usually find it at hobby shops and maybe even Wally World. Not as great as VHT, probably 4 more coats to get the same darkness.

    u sure napa carries it? when i called up the Mt.pleasant napa,the dude had no clue and even tried looking it up & was like naw we dont carry it..

    which i was confused cuz they carry VHT paint there
    i dunno the napa near me carried it, i asked guy at front desk and he said yes we can get it. he ordered it an it came in next day at 10.11 something
