348 / 409 Chevy Engine

I know this is a shot in the dark on a Mustang site, but if anyone knows of any of these for sale, please send me a PM. 348's were made from 1958-1965 and 409's were produced from 1961-1965. I would consider both car and truck blocks. Thanks.

There was a guy who ran those motors at PRP a few years ago, and I had his card. Let me look for it ,and get back to you.

Finally found my "W" block I have been lookin' for at a reasonable price. It took me aout a year to find one that was in decent shape and that I could actually afford, but I think it's a good one. It's a 348 with a single 4 barrel but it is the high horsepower one with a factory rating of 315. I would of rather had a 409, but my budget was limited. This will be going in my next hot rod which hopefully with be a Model A coupe. As of right now, I'm planning on going with a mild rebuild with hopefully around 375-400 horsepower.
