    Lower Torque box ?

Ok any ideas on making the lowers stronger? I have already welded every seem on each lower and still I found on both side at very bottom cracks in the metal. This pic is driver side. Passenger side was was a little shorter. I went and welded the cracks but I know that won't last. It's cracking right where the bottom starts to turn up.

Keep it out of the salt

Jegs and Competion Engineering make these plates........

Do you have the lower kits in yours? Not that it is where you are cracking, but by putting the kit on the outside it will carry some of the forces and maybe take some load off the inside.

You could try leaving just above idle too
