    classic 4 door cars

Just wondering what your opinions are of these cars... I have a chance to buy a 66 4 Door Nova with only 17,000 original miles for a great price. this car is absolutely spotless for being 43 years old. A few years back, I would of never even considered the idea, but lately I have been thinking about it. It is an orginal 6 cylinder car, but I have 400 small block chevy ready to be dropped in and a set of Corvette Ralley wheels. I'm thinking it would make a decent little cruiser.

If you're looking for a cruiser I woudl look more for a full size car.

If you want a performer......then that is an OK platform size wise.

This was my first car....of course it didn't look like this when I bought it, but when I was 16.....it was awesome. 4 doors rule! That was 1988.

ABSOLUTELY !!!! BUY IT !!! that would make a sweet car. these cars are becoming an alternative to these high priced cars, and you can drive the hell out of it. I would do a small block-w/ vintage air in this car over a G6 or a malibu any day !!

thats what i'm thinking. with only 17,000 original miles, i'm thinking i could drive it for a while, have something with a little bit of character, and resell it down the road and not lose my ass like i would with any other new car.

I say go for it too. You could have a nice little cruiser/sleeper combo. Or, like bb el said, those 6s will run forever, drive it anywhere. Parts to keep it running should be easy enough to get. And you should be able to get most of your $$ back out of it should you sell.
