Cool Flight 93 Temporary Memorial 4/26/09

Wifey and I stopped at the Flight 93 temporary memorial yesterday. She took some pictures. We didn't notice until we put them on the computer that this picture had an exhaust tail from a jet directly above the flags and the cross.

    Freaky, huh?

a few more pics. I don't know how I feel about the Memorial. It's kinda pathetic that our government can't get the real estates issues worked out with the land owners and build a real memorial there.

BUT, the homemade plaques and stuff that people have left there is pretty wild, too. IDK???

What ridiculous is the fact that the government is condemning the land, seizing it to build a monument and not paying the land owners for it. Saw that in an article in usatoday.
