    Lets get this SH@# started!

Hey guys! I was hopen that we would find out whats goin on with Carlisle. I talked to tammy this past sat. and wanted to see if anyone wanted to put an input on what they would like to do with a club theme, points of meeting up, food, and when people are wanting to leave.

I talked to brain 97laserred the first night of quaker steak and from what i remember there are a few people meeting up at his house fri morning and early morning in pleasant hills ....if its easier to meet all in new stanton fri morning b4 we jump on the pike put that up anywhere!....

food.... i could bring dogs or burgers, dip, chips, pop, bunns whatever... just put up something if your bringing something.

theme... we could do a tropical theme... racing theme... voodoo theme... or i even thought of a halloween theme... people would think we would be retards dressed in costumes but for sure would get noticed haha. tammy said that you can get awards for coolest club so thats something to think about.

please put up your thoughts and ideas. time is ticking we dont have much time!

There are a number of us planning on heading out to the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix on either Friday or Saturday night. More than likely it will be on Saturday. Its not that far from Carlisle and its an absolute blast. The place is open until 11pm so time wise it fits in perfectly.

LOL! No, I haven't registered yet. I'll try to find time later today to do it if I don't forget.

Dave, it was great talking with you that day =) Thanks for all your help and concern for making this a great event for everyone.

Will you start a list here of who will bring what? Thanks!

Tim Rodeheaver is bringing his grill.

We will need food, as well as other things, like paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, condiments, soda, water, ice, etc.... and COOLERS!! We will need a few bigger coolers to keep all the food in with ice on it. I have one I'll bring.

There will be 1 table with the tent - which we could use for all the food.

If someone brings hot dogs, you bring buns. It shares the expense and then we wont have 50 of one thing and nothing of the other. Let's help each other out. Just remember, it has to be enough to feed those that are on the list to attend plus any spouses, etc. We will probably cook out Friday for lunch while decorating the tent, and Saturday all day and Sunday if you guys want lunch before heading back out.

I usually leave the showfield and eat dinner at a restaurant, which pinkstang and 1badbird have suggested maybe we could all go to a place they go to every year.

It's totally up to you all how often you want to cook.. just bring the food and if there's extra on Sunday.. we'll ship it back home!

If anyone has memberships to Sam's Club... buy there.

Oh yeah, dont forget to donate for the banner.. we need that for the tent, per Carlisle rules.

Thanks everyone!! Looking forward to this event with you all

I have no idea... gotta get enough for everyone for 3 days. If anyone is bringing pop.. that will help too.. but as hot as it gets, water is usually the best way to go.

If it's too much for you to do it all, others can help.. that's why I asked how many you were bringing.

Guess the question is how much do you want to spend? lol

That grand prix looks fun, providing they dont give you a DUI. I gotta talk to the boys on that one.
