I know!! That's something that never crossed my mind! I still love the m3 and plenty of people race them. He seems to be pretty hard on his car so it might have just been time for him to break shit. Who knows. More reliable than a gtr no matter how you cut it LOL

The 1310 reasons, are dollars you fools! lol

And, I drove an 04 M3 the other day, and they have traction control, so no wheel hop... But I didnt see a TC light come on in his dash, so he must have had it off... oh well.

Still though, that sucks! At least it didnt SNAP like Cobra ones do.

If you take traction control off once it voids your warranty, the transmissions blow up if they see much abuse (and they cost 20k to replace), the first fluid change in the car costs somewhere north of 3k. To top it all off they're the size of a maxima and they sound like a damn garbage disposal got hooked up to a quick shifting automatic.

Best part is that they're easy to beat from a roll, and then the fan boys claim it's only meant for road racing - but then they spend a fortune to try to make them competetive with a near stock z06 or a twin screw cobra. Just makes no sense to me, as the car has less sex appeal than Hilary Clinton.
