I seen a few TFS R's for sale on the corral.

The TFS R outflows the Holley by a good margin, just so you know.

The Holley is a great intake for sure all depending on the intended use of the engine......

I used the TFS-R as a Holley wouldn't support the kind of H.P. I plan on making nor the rpm's..

those intakes look pretty similar appearance wise. I'll be happy with either, i don't really think there is going to be a big difference from my RPMII honestly.

Well put. The Holley, from everything I have read, is a great intake for either N/A or forced induction, but if you are building a high RPM motor or you are going to push a lot of boost through the intake, a box-style intake such as the TFS-R, Hogan's, or BBK SSI-R is the way to go. Based on cost vs. power made, of those 3 I would go with the TFS-R like Robert did above. Basically, the TFS-R is a more serious intake than the Holley.

Edit: Are we speaking of the non-box style TFS-R or the box upper? I may have missed which one we are discussing.

Oh and I just noticed this is in the classifieds, sorry. I saw it under new posts and didn't realize it. Mods can delete my post if need be, but I'll leave it in here in case the OP wants a little more info.

your posts are fine man... I appreciate the feedback... I was initially looking for a box, however i'm not turning near enough RPM to use that... So i was tossing up the standard upper or holley. I am hoping to get a ported holley.

From experiance the long runner TFS-R intake makes no more and actually less down low than a Holley. The box upper is a different story though
