exhaust question for 07 gt

i just bought an o/r x pipe made by pypes i already had on slp loudmouth axle backs but they sounded horrible with no cats. i put the stock mufflers back on and it sounds much better but i would like it to be a little louder and more aggressive does anyone have any suggestions for new mufflers?

the ford racing mufflers are a good bit louder than stock but not horribly loud, I personally hate the mac mufflers, the flowmaster super 40s sound classic and are my favorite.. check out youtube, there are tons of guys who have put sound clips of their cars on there with exhaust descriptions...

do you know if the super 40 s come as a direct fit for a 07 gt?

from everything that I've read, any of the chambered mufflers with an x pipe end up sounding like garbage on the s197s and a straight thru muffler like corsas, borla/frpp stingers seem to be the general consensus for the best match to an x-pipe

loudmouths are straight thru they sound horrible when i hit like 3k rpms

the loudmouths are practically muffler deletes lol, the ones that I mentioned usually have some forms of baffles and packing material to actually tune them. I haven't really done any experimenting of my own with the different types but I've tried to do a lot of research regarding the exhaust choices and have found this thread, http://forums.stangnet.com/735791-po...ist-combo.html ,to be really helpful. SCS's Bossman's car has a Pypes axle/cat back, and 07vbluestang has a JBA. Both cars sound really good. Another dude around my town I know got a Magnaflow and another dude I know got Borla's. All of'em sound pretty good. I just had my full exhaust done, all's I gotta say is research n listen to different clips alot!

hey this is 07 vbluestang!! i have factory exhaust except for the m-5230 ford racing gta's. they are little louder than factory. if you want we can meet and go from there. maybe we can switch around some parts and see for our selves what sounds the best.
