I'm talking about the set screw on the bottom that lets you adjust at what boost level you want the BTM to start pulling timing. Right now I have it set between 1 and 2.
The knob for amount of retard is set at 3. Gonna make some 3rd gear pulls and listen for any detonation and adjust it down from there if everything checks out ok.
Of course I can't do anything until the ASP AC delete arrives and I can finally solve my serpentine belt issue.
Just ordered the AC delete from Summit at 6:30 this morning. Usually if you order early enough the stuff shows up the next day. I hope I don't have to wait until Monday. Oh, I had 20 Summit bucks, so that took a little of the pain out of ordering it.
Summit Racing FTW!
PUT IT ON 1,,, put it on 3 if you want to be a giant pile of turd.

Are we talking about the same thing ? Not the cabin mounted knob that adjusts from 1 to 3. I'm talking about the set screw on the bottom of the box itself. It's located by the vacuum hose fitting.
If we are talking about the same thing, you think I should set this at 1 so timing gets pulled immediately when boost is present ?
As far as the cabin mounted knob, I'm going to do as Wick suggested and start out with it set at 3. I'll make some pulls and listen for detonation then keep lowering the setting until detonation shows up and turn it back up a bit.
Anyone see anything wrong with this feel free to chime in.
Sitting here waiting for the UPS guy to show up with the AC delete bracket/pulley. I'll be driving this thing this weekend if it kills me, LOL.
Hooray, UPS just showed up.
Gotta give props to Summit Racing for their super fast shipping. I can always count on them.

Put the delete bracket on and a 90.5" belt and everything looked fine. Had almost an inch clearance. Took it for a 45 minute ride yesterday, there was a lot of traffic so I only ever saw about 1-2 # of boost.
Came home, put it in the garage and went back out a couple hours later and what do I see ? Yes, the belt stretched and is now hitting the w/p pulley again. Geeeeeeeez !
I have one belt I still have to return from the start of this adventure so I'll just trade it for a 90" and see if that works even after stretching.
This pic is after the belt stretched after driving awhile.

90" belt, so far, so good.
I got the opportunity to get into a bit of boost today and it's quite a thrill ride. Don't want to push it to the max yet as I'm still playing with the BTM to get my timing right.
