Whats your point? Why do you think parts are made elsewhere? Because we let all the cheap junk cars and parts made from overseas in. You have to outsourse to stay alive. Our country was strongest when we made everything here, now look at the shape its in. Your job could be in jeopardy and you see nothing wrong with someone buying a car that supports another company. Thats bullshit!

Yes, my job was/still is in jeopardy and I am well aware of that..I go into work everyday, being thankful that I have a job to tend to for Chrysler. I was ready to be unemployed a week or so ago. And in none of my posts did I say directly that whoever should go out and buy a foreign car, because I would never purchase a foreign car myself by any means, unless it was a $500 beater p.o.s. If someone else wants to buy a Honda, Toyota, ect, go for it, if that's what you feel is right and you like it, that's fine with me. I don't care what anyone else buys, it's not my place to worry about what brand they buy. Should you buy an American made car if you are a true American, Yes, IF you have the same feelings about the whole situation such as you do. If you want something extremely reliable and cheap, buy foreign. Period.

The point is, things are ****ed up in America. What can we do to change it? Buy American products if that's what you desire. But as stated above or a few posts ago, some foreign cars are more reliable, I still see early 90 model honda's with 250k+ miles still running..


By no means am I taking sides of the "jap cars", because I'm not and I will never go out and purchase/fianace a foreign car, EVER.

Just my .02..I felt like i was rambling on, so I quit.

Got ya, im not telling anyone else what to do either but being in the automotive field I see the effects in alot wider perspective. It just amazes me that people are willing to flush our history and future with out a second thought. As far as american quality, I think its come along way in the last 10 years and there are alot of great american autos out there now.

Yes, I had a jap quad. My dad traded his jap bike for the jap quad and he needed money so I ended up with a jap quad. The one dirtbike I did buy was a KTM. As, for the tires he ismore then welcome to come tear them off in front of the house. As long as i am home lol. I'll vid it.
