    09 GT brand new vs. 98 GT

    I was leaving the local ford dealership when I see some guy test driving an 09 GT 5sp with his wife and the salesman. He pulled up next to me and wanted to know what was done to my car. I told him it was just exhaust and other minor bolt ons. He said he wanted to run me just to see how the cars compare. So we ran from a 2nd gear roll just through 2 gears and we did this 2-3 times.

    Outcome- I was surprised but the cars seemed pretty even. Obviously he started to pull me the slightest bit but he was even saying how he can't believe how good my car ran compared to the 09. I know its not a kill and it was a dumb race and he had an extra 300+lbs worth of passengers but I just figured I'd share this funny story.

    Haha I was at the dealer again tire kicking as usual and the salesman spotted me and came out and apologized for what a dick head that guy was. I apologized to him too, it was pretty funny. The guy kept goin on about how much of a screwball the guy was.

    Nah man I had my shot at a laser red 05+ GT vert at the flashlight drags. My heap will run that thing down now with my 4.10s and DRs.
