Few months early since I seem to only do this in October. Decided to run my off road H. I was thinking with the cams and may need to breath more. Cats worked great with stock cams. Going into 6 season of racing this motor is long overdue to be redone.
Pass 1 - Was my quickest ET for atleast 50 minutes.
60' - 1.68 (spun as had no heat in tires and probably still wet)
330' - 5.12
1/8 - 7.97
MPH - 87.72
1000' - 10.40
1/4 - 12.45
MPH - 110.38
Tried doing my burnout twice and both times car jumped out of water box. I pretty much gave up on the burnout and staged. Hit line lock and noticed I was drifting forward. Back in pits fond the fuse had blown and line lock wasn't working.
Pass 2 - Line lock working now
60' - 1.63 (Balaska told me I spun bad)
330' - 5.02
1/8 - 7.85
MPH - 87.80
1000' - 10.29
1/4 - 12.34
MPH - 110.21
Pass 3 - 1st rnd Elims
60' - 1.66 (this pass I felt it spin bad atleast a good 6')
330' - 5.09
1/8 - 7.96
MPH - 85.93
1000' - 10.40
1/4 - 12.47 lifting and lost. Should have stayed in it as I would have gotten around other car who also lifted.
MPH - 104.90
I think I need a taller tire maybe a 27 or 28" slick. Car also seems to have more noticable smoke going down track and apparently bad at 1000' on from what I was told. With cats its not as noticable.
