'93 Lincoln Mark VIII complete car for parts

My brother has a '93 Mark VIII that was running over a year ago. Good for parts, these have Teskid aluminum 4.6 DOHC block, forged crank, good AOD-E wide ratio, 8.8 IRS and wiring harnesses. Basically its good for the parts but he has a title and would like to sell complete. Car is in Toledo, OH but with a deposit he'll trailer it here on a trip to visit. Only wants to sell complete.

any idea why its not running? Hows the body?

Body is an ugly purplish, not rusted out but not pretty.
The guy he bought it from said the brakes were shot (they are) and that the trans shifted weird. My brother topped off the fluid and drove it 3-4 miles home and said it ran and shifted fine but he can't make any staements on how it runs/drives. He bought it mainly to have an aluminum Teskid block to build and then scrap/part the rest but now just wants his money out of it to go racing this summer.

the trans shifted weird.

Drain out the stock crap and fill it full of mercon 5. The mercon 3 doesn't keep the tranny from stuttering while shifting into OD. Feels like the car is driving over rumble strips.

Whoever buys it can fill it with whatever they want :)
I'll be going to the NHRA with him this weekend so I'll get some info. for those who have inquired.
