Great thing about ordering mirrors from ASB is that they send you the caps to go over the factory holes. Also you need to go visit www.badweatherbikers.com They're family

Scott, I had a D&D on my bike(shown in those pictures) and traded it for a drummer on the badweb. I love my drummer. The D&D is stupid loud and the power curve is more of mid to top end increase. The drummer has the perfect sound and increases power all throughout the power curve. If I were you I would go drummer or special ops.

OH yeah the D&D is a heavy pipe. The front of the pipe which also serves a mounting bracket looks like a skid plate for a quad. This is my opinion from experience. And get those belt guards on before you end up buying a new belt!
Air box mod. I did the open air box kit from ASB. Its really simple. I routed my breather tube back up under the frame from the air box and come out by the swing arm mount. You cant see it unless you know what your looking for. I had hero blue plastics on my bike for a while, and the open air box kit looks sweet under those plastics in the day light. It also is good for conversation with people that dont know anything about buell.

adam hate to say it but when me and my buddy went for a ride last time (07 cbr600rr) my bike was so much faster in the turns than his and i had to slow down alot for him to keep up so we thought maybe rider so we switched and i had a hard time keeping up to him on my bike. I must say these do handle alot better than the sport bikes and my 750 would prob be dead even due to the simple fact my 750 had alot more power, but when it came to a straight away of course he was gone but i didnt care going straight isnt what bikes were made for IMO

Yea i looked into it more and a drummer seems more like the better choice esp since i dont want to mess with ecmspy yet.

puhhhlease.... i've ridden 2 of those buell's before.... you won't keep up for any longer than the first 2 miles... lol :) .... unless you keep them revved to the moon, 600s' aren't going to have the pull out of a corner to keep up with any twin motor.... not a buell, hell not even a v-twin sportbike, which hanldes like a tank

just some friendly blows scott lol ;)

HAHA sonofabish you really have no idea what your talking about. Maybe you just dont know how to ride. Oh man you crack me up. I can say that I4 dont stand a chance because I ride with them a lot. You should stop posting in this thread and peeing on this guys thunder. Have some respect, he got a new bike and is enjoying it. Dont ruin it for him.

Alright, listen NEWB ... i know scott, so he knows to take my jabs with a grain of salt, b/c they're just little punches... I'm not ruining a thing for scott - he knows i love everything on two wheels - yes, even the "couches" are cool in their own way....

Secondly, I'll put a 95% probability that I have a LOT more miles on a bike than you do ... but i suppose I could let you buell guys keep ur head up your ass and believe whatever you like... i remember the days of blissful ignorance... good times...

Scott - if you want my honest opinion on the bike... the only thing i think you need to change - get rid of is that goofy looking inspection sticker

I think I made a post without thinking. I get upset real quick when I4 guys/or even squids "pick" on buells. I dont know if its because they dont have 140+ hp(except the 1125r) or if its because they dont have full fairings, or maybe because its a vtwin thats something other than a duc. Most of the time I just have to think to myself "meet me on the track and tell me you love me"haha. Its good to know that your just yanking on scotts chain for fun. Sorry for lashing out. I see that you have a R1. I must say great bike, a little heavy for me but still a sweet ride. I rode a 2007, what a blast!
Okay, scott I'm done highjacking your thread bud. Any questions give me a shout.
Sonofabish, always fun debating with you :-)
