I think I made a post without thinking. I get upset real quick when I4 guys/or even squids "pick" on buells. I dont know if its because they dont have 140+ hp(except the 1125r) or if its because they dont have full fairings, or maybe because its a vtwin thats something other than a duc. its cool - no worries.... i always enjoy an informed debate between folks that can be later ignored and not taken personally....

however, just as an FYI, if you have an opportunity, take a ride on a newer litre-bike... you might be pleasantly surprised.... if you look up the dry/wet weights, my bike is actually lighter than yours, and it has a good 50+ more hp than a '07 YFZ1000R (the R1 didn't come out until 1998 ;) )

like i said, i won't pick on anyone on two wheels, with exception of guys on Busa's... lol... the rural areas are different, but down here in the city, guys only buy Busa's to make them feel better about themselves - i can't tell you the number of 1000+ cc bikes that i see on the south side with 1-2"+ chicken strips... it really gets under my skin...
