    17s or 18s on a fox

how many of you guys run 17s 0r 18s on a fox, i am building a little box body for a shop beater and i want to run 18" saleens on it, i think i should stick with 8" wide wheels, what size tires are you all getting away with on the rear??

No way dude, go big or go home :)
My brother runs 18x10s and 305/35/18 DRs (first Nittos now MTs and they are less than 1/4" diference on same wheel) on a stock length rear. He needed to roll the outer lips (all Mustangs should have this done as I'm sure you know) and very minimally clearance the inners. He used the 18" deep-dish Bullit wheel and I can check with him on the backspacing if you want, I think the 10" Saleen will be the same. Also, he did have some rubbing issues with a passenger and aggressive lowering springs, he just swapped stock V8 springs and said he likes them better and might take a 1/2 coil out of them.
I'll post pics later. Nice choice, I like that wheel on a Fox.
