SCS Meet before Carlisle?

Met up with PJ at Fuddrucker's on Monday evening and we were talking and wanted to see if we could get a little meet set up. Anybody want to meet up somewhere on Friday or Saturday this week? I thought it would be cool since it's the last weekend before Carlisle. We haven't really had a meet yet this year. We could meet at the Waterfront, or anywhere people would prefer.

That's a possibility, as long as it isn't super packed and they start parking people in the field again. I can't get there till around 6, and if they try to park me in the dirt, I'll turn around and go home. I honestly hope the show isn't as big this week.

I hear that Starlite had anywhere between 2,000 and 2,400 cars last Friday

If we plan anything on Friday, we should plan for after rush hour traffic so that everyone can meet at a neutral place.

Yea I was thinking around 6:30 or 7pm. It doesn't get dark till almost 9 now, so that is plenty of time to hang out then do some cruising.

This friday or saturday?..

I gotta' take my car back to the body shop..Hopefully they'll get the finishing touches done by then, haven't had it out much since I got it back.

I know all about trips back to the body shop, lol, that's been the story of my life the last month or so.

It hasn't been decided between Friday or Saturday yet, we haven't gotten many responses.

Lol, well hopefully this will be my last time up there..they screwed my car up so bad, put a wrong wheel on it, hoods all effed up, didnt connect my fog lights, or my windshield washer hoses back up..inside was caked in sanded down paint, and so was the engine bay..it was disgusting...

but hopefully i'll be able to make it out there..i'll keep checkin' back for an exact date, hopefully we can get some more folks to join in!

It's now looking like I'm gonna have a long day at work on Friday, so I would prefer Saturday. I think this will increase the chances for a bigger turnout anyway, by not conflicting with Wexford.

I can't do Saturday, have to go work on the endless project called ... "The camp from hell" .....

guys i wish i could meet up with you all... but my brother wrecked my lx ... so this weekend i have to fix this stupid shit.....i got 1 week till the show and need to detail the hell out of 2 cars (not that there dirty but you know) and you know im going to be doing some buffing. plus still havent gotten my exhaust issue solved and i have to find a driver for one of my cars....

Pretty sure Mike (94svtcobra) is registered for Carlisle, and as you know, his car won't be ready due to the vandalizing. Maybe he would want to drive one of them out for you? Maybe shoot him a PM.

I wanted to take it to Bowser's Collision center on Rt 51. my insurance company said no, because they were not garunteed..so, they said Century Three Chevrolet's a garunteed place, so we'll take it there..I didnt wanna but really had no choice..so, it went there, and heres what they all did to it..Put the wrong wheel on the front, with the center cap literally falling out, the hood looks like complete shit, the whole left side of it is not blended in properly. The paint they used is a different paint code than my Satin Silver (TL) color. The engine bay was totally disgusting, I could have eaten off of that motor before it went up there. The inside was covered, still is, in sanded down paint and dust.

It was just an overall bad experience. Totally horrible. The manager tried telling the insurance company they were fixing the wheel themselves, when I actually took my old wheel myself and swapped it off with the gypo one they put on it, and the car was sitting right outside my work!! Liars!!

Never take your car to Century Three Chevrolet, EVER for anything.

Haha, I didn't realize there was a pens game on Saturday. I don't really follow the Pens so I wouldn't know, lol. Honestly, I don't follow any sports, at all haha
