    What to do

    hey, im looking into buying a tuner chip for my car and I was wondering if I need to take the car to a tuning shop or anything? Or if all I need to do is plug in the tuning chip to the car.? - Thanks

    Get a programmer and plug it in yourself. Very easy to do.

    depending on the year of the car, the handheld tuners come with a 91 octane tune installed from sct, the chips are blank, so you will need a tune if you get a chip, and the tuning shop could make you a finetuned tune..
