The small ground wire thats in the harness for the MAF is burned up. What can I do to fix this? Does it just need grounded to the frame or do I need to replace the entire wire? If so where does the wire go to if any one knows.

Not sure if this will help you or not but this place sells new pieces (pigtails) for the MAF connectors. http://rjminjectiontech.com/?p=10

Well I just re grounded the wire to the frame and its up and running. Now I can sorta drive it now.
Without knowing your specifc MAF and arrangement, ?i can offer this.
There are two wires to a MAF that could be called "ground" One is a true battery ground to power the sensor, the other is the signal return. The sensor might work with signal return to chassis ground but the potential offset between the two can casue you issues. I would check a wiring diagram carefully and see what wire it really is and fix as needed.
