    Motorcycle plate location ????

Does anyone know where i can find if PA has a law on where and how the license plate of a motorcycle has to be located? I am looking at mounting mine vertical by my drive belt but not sure if its illegal. I just want to check into it before i actually do it. I looked at pendot and couldnt find anything. here is a sample pic

Several guys on here do inspections, I'm sure one of them can chime in with the rules. I've never seen one mounted there but it looks really cool. The only thing I think you might run into is some law about it being rotated sideways or that it is bent

I'm pretty sure you can have it mounted sideways on the swingarm, etc... I see tons of choppers/custom bikes/etc with them mounted sideways...

However, as Guffey said, if you go to an inspection place that is ticky-tacky, they're not going to like that there is no light...

Hell, you can't hardly see mine.. i have it tucked up under the tail of the bike and on nearly teh same plane as the exhaust ... don't have a light, or anything..
