Turbo Harley V-Rod

Guy over on svtperformance just posted up his new toy, an 07 V-Rod with a turbo kit, seriously sick. I've definitely never seen a turbo harley, lol. Thought some of you bike guys on here would enjoy it.

Its a great idea, and for some reason I had the urge to research it back in the day when I had my TL1000R... unfortunately the turbo isn't near as effective on a v-twin engine because of the large pulses of exhaust flow, and then ... nothing... then large pulse... etc etc... People had done it and just didn't get the results that you'd expect to get when on a v-twin motor....

but otherwise, it looks sick and would be a cool show piece

Definitely cool. I love those black V-rods(think they're called nightrods). If I were gonna get a Harley that would definitely be the one.

Before I scrolled down, I was going to write the same exact thing. The turbo, the exhuast and/or both would roast the inside of his leg. He probably has to wear kevlar pants.

Part of the beauty of motorcycles is there is no HIDING anything. The motor, turbo and everything else just hangs out there in plain view for everyone to see.

It would work great on that R1.
