    How to put a 429-460 into a fox (87-93)

    Has anyone here done one?

    I have someone asking a question out west.

    A buddy of mine got the templates for a engine plate, 460 to Fox.

    i used motor plates only because the hooker mounts were a joke and i wanted to move the engine back further and lower it some, it is not as bad to do as you may think, i have the hooker super comp headers, but i would recommend the kooks headers (way nicer and better fit), to make it a ton easier get a tubular k-member and a flaming river steering shaft, other than that it is a breeze. and i think it was about the easiest speed i ever built, my engine is just a .030 over 460 with iron dove-c heads and a big cam, goes 10.50s with ease...
    2015 A6 Mustang GT that so far has gone 9.48@147 but still the fastest prochargerd S550 in the world aside from Tim Essick's!

    how far did you move it back 1"?

    until the drivers valve cover was 1/8" form the fire wall and i lowered it until the oil pan was about 3/16" from the steering rack.
