    1949-1950 Ford

I have the opportunity to buy a 50 Ford sedan and was just wondering if there would be any interest in the car. The car is an old hot rod and hasn't been on the road for 22 years... To be completely honest, if/when I would buy the car, I only want it for the the engine and tranny and wouldn't try and make any money. Right now, the asking price is $1800 and I firgured the engine and tranny would be worth $500 so I would be looking to get around $1200 for the rolling body. I really have no idea what kind of money these cars bring and just trying to put out some "feelers"... let me know what you guys think. I know this is tough without pics, but the car would be a project. Like most any car that is 50+ years old, there is some bondo, there is no glass, and needs some other body work. if someone would be seriously interested, I'll try and get pics... Let me know what you guys/gals think...

Check out www.shoeboxford.com to get an idea of what it is worth. I think it would make a really cool rat rod project!
