So we finally got to pick it up today..

I took it for like 5 miles and then decided it was my uncles car so I was gonna let him drive the next 60 or so miles home.

Got home and we let my mom drive it and she liked it. She took it just down the street and back.

Finally the moment I've been waiting for its mine for the night so I decided gonna swing by my girlfriends house and take her for a ride.

Ended up pissing her off somehow so she was angry with me the whole ride which kinda sucked.

Took the car onto McKnight road and was driving it nice and normal and all and all of the sudden I realized the car looked like it was running on the hot side, ran to the next light and looked at it and it was pegged on hot so I shut it off and then the steam started coming from the hood. I was soooo pissed off. Light went green I started it up and pulled it into the parking lot and shut it down and ran the heater.

Let it cool down for like an hour and then ran it home (I lived real close by). So I guess I need a thermostat or something. Was really a downer though. Had a very shitty day.

Was anything done to the car recently? Most people don't burp them properly after working on the car. Could certainly be something else too, let me know if you need anything...

The engine looks stock as a rock seems like it only has that catback on and a cai. I don't know though Ill probably throw a thermostat in and see if that does anything. Thanks guys,
