Funny how we been talking about 4.6 trucks i ran into one last nite going up 3 mills of hill lol. He had duals and glass packs and a bunch of stickers in the back window includeing one that sad "BADASS" he jumped out from behind this van he was riding its ass and had it floored. Sounded like a 100mph so i stomped on it and rolled right past and kept rolling up the hill. I was in fifth gear.

Lol, Mine is a 5 spd won't go up in smoke and mine has no rust on it and all parts in the front have been or are being replaced with good stuff.

100mph in a truck sound kinda like the end of the world because when you hear it... your dead.

I dont even think my f150 with a 4.6 will go 100mph. I will give it a shot some time but I am sure it will sound like the end of the world.

With 38's I can pass the 100mph mark. I wouldn't want to have to stop it real fast after that though lol.

I went a GPS recorded 110mph in my 3.5 liter anemic H3. My speedo said 92ish (believe me I had plenty of time to look) and the car is electronically governed at 94 mph. The craziest thing about it was that it was a slight uphill slope where I did it. I swear on my life I'm not making this up. Both before and after that incident, I think the truck may have cracked 80 mph once. I drive like an old man

I guess I should add that my tires are not stock ;)

OH andd this was before I put that brush guard on too. That thing really effed up my aerodynamics. I took it off the other day and I got a 2 mpg increase on the highway and no more cowl noise. un-be-****ing-leavable that it had that big of an effect.

no!! the thing really did it! I think I'm going to need to document again it before its gone though... I have a garmin and it saves your max speed in it... so time will tell if it was a fluke or not
