looks like a stock fuel tank until you get to the front of it haha. had to fab up a mounting plate for the pump.

well, ran into some trouble today. got my new flywheel/ tranny in BUT, the tranny sits too far forward by like a quarter inch so the tranny mount wont bolt in. we loosened the K/ motor mounts and tried ratchet strapping it backwards but its just a bit shy now. we gave up for the night. hopefully we'll have it in tomorrow. always something.

maybe you have the cross member in backwards?

we tried puttin it in both ways and it can only go in 1 way. we will get it, its just a matter of how hard it wants to be haha. there is still room for the K to come back but there's only like a fingers width between an egr tube and the firewall .

ha, im lucky i can even firgure out how to put pics on here. they just come out however they want

just another update on how worthless HP Performance is- i told them they forgot my fuel rails, harness, and fuel pressure regulator. so what do they do? tell me it is being shipped out overnight for 2 weeks straight! finally i get the box containing my rails and... 2 spools of wire i am supposed to make my own harness instead or sending me the one from magnafuel! not to mention they didnt send my fuel pressure regulator. so i call "nathan" at HP and tell him im sending the kit back to him because im sick off him and his company and he tells me that the regulator was ordered on monday directly from magnafuel (it was wednesday) with overnight shipping. he tells me he will call them and then call me back to find out why it hadnt arrived. i had enough and called magnafuel directly and they told me the order had only been placed an hour ago (1 hr after i called HP to send my kit back) then i just ordered the harness from summit for 50 bucks myself because i was sick of HP's "customer service" and got it next day. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

everything's dam near complete. i have an appointment to take it to modular powerhouse in atlanta this thurs. so im pretty pumped about that. the o2 sensor harness disappeared for a day but we found it. it fell in behind the transmission and engine so we had to take the dam tranny out AGAIN haha.

yea man i will. ill take a pic of the stang tomorrow, i towed it home tonight. It got lowered a sh*t ton with the coilovers haha. Between that and the LT's if i hit a pebble im F'ed haha.

did you get coilovers front and rear? or just front? and what kind did you get? strange 10-ways i think you said?

yea, just front for now i have numerous other thing to get before i mess with the rear end of this moneypit. and yea again for a strange coilover setup. i just hope no one decides to steal anything off of my car tonight while its sitting in the street with no hood

put a cover over it! i would be too worried and probably end up sleeping in my car if it was me lol

i do have a cover on, but that wont stop the random mexicans we have that visit us at 11 o clock from jackin my stuff haha. then again it doesnt have hydraulics so they prob wont be interested anyway.

ha i actually thought about it last night. tonight is the last night before she gets to atlanta i HOPE. my 02 extensions and fuel pressure gauge still havent come and i need to leave at 8am for atlanta on thurs.

well, i got everything done and got to MPH and when i did after a 5 hour drive they look at my fuel system that HP performance had me hook up and were like wtf is this? so i told them thats the way they had me do it and had me cap the ends of my rails and return it through the FPR in the back by the tank, and they said there is no way that would work and my fuel would vaporize. i called HP and they still swore that it would work but MPH firmly believes it wont. so my car is still at MPH for probably another week.....

well im finally gettin the whip back this saturday. its makin 530(currently when they said it was real hot) to the wheels when i called like 10 minutes ago, but they are gunna get it up to around 550. i have an 18# pulley and seing 14# because of heads etc... they said they could make gobs more, but tim doesnt want to get killed when my stock transmission explodes and rips the transmission tunnel apart hahah!!! so im thinkin about gettin a promotion tranny, then ill head back up there and make some real unrestricted power! cant wait to get it back!!!!
