    Blue instrument lights

I wasnt sure if this was on here yet, so i figured id post it up. I have white face gauges on my instrument cluster that light up the numbers and markings blue. Well, i was looking into making my HVAC instruments do the same, but i didnt like the look of having the white face in there. After a little research online, i found that the instruments markings are actually blue and because the factory uses an amber bulb, they shine green. Simple fix, buy 194 ultra white LED replacement bulbs (a couple bux on ebay).

I only did the HVAC bulbs, which there are two of in the back of it. If you are going to do the instrument cluster, there are five bulbs in that. Its a great way to keep the factory look and have blue colored gauges instead of green.

I think it would def look better if you have blue accents already in your interior.

Its been a long time since i took the cluster completely out, but i know to get the face of it only takes about five minutes. As for the HVAC, take the radio out, at least on 94-98 theres two little bolts in the front of the bezel to take out, theres another bolt inside to take out, pop the bezel off, and then theres four bolts holding the instrument panel in place. The bulbs twist right out of the back. Its pretty easy, probably 20-30 minutes. The bulbs in the cluster are the same size, and they twist out.

i think they look great with the white LED, but i bet if you use a blue LED it would give a real deep blue look.

I think I found this link on the Corral but it's for a site that sells colored LED lights for gauges etc.
