I am looking to buy a new camera end of next week and i have decided on the Nikon D40... Now where is the best place to either go or order one?

have you looked at them in person yet? i.e. held it in your hand to see if you like the layout of the controls?

check amazon, adorama and B&H. Better yet, dig up my thread about my online photography rant. Lots of good information on there... if you only searched you noob!!

I like Canon and Sony myself, but Nikons are nice.....check it out at Best Buy, Staples, maybe Walmart or Target...Checking it out first will def. help make your decision...
