I'm the same way, my first car was a 78 Buick Regal. I bought it used, had it a month and the cam went, it only had 54,000 miles on it. And just recently my gf's cavalier's engine went, and it only had a little over 60k on it. I know it doesn't matter what make it is, there's always a chance you're going to get a bad one, but I have better luck with Fords.
