Couldn't agree more... My mom has a 2001 Bullitt and I LOVE it. I was very disappointed when the new one came out as I had high hopes for it.

The new bullitts are way closer to the styling of the original '68 in the movie, and that's why I like them. The foglight / pony delete give it the same look from the front. If I bought a new one I'd have to build a '68 clone too.

Don't get me wrong - I like all the bullitt cars - but I like the new ones more than the SN95 models.

I saw a new green one a few weeks ago and it was really nice. All it needed was a Kenne Bell and it'd be perfect!

I saw a black Bullitt at Woltz and Wind Ford a couple weeks ago. Very tempted to pick it up. I really like the S197 Bullitts...they look like the original (like PaxtonShelby said).

As far as the plain-ness of the car...Steve McQueen didn't need spoilers or badges and neither do I.
