ur right on the first term and the second term is -1... the third term is equal to 1...
its a simple geometric series... .the sum from n = 0 to infinity of 1/(2^n) is [1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + ...]
use the geometric formula a/(1-r)... in this case a = 1, r = 1/2.... thus 1/(1-1/2) = 2...
In this case, you are summing from 1 to infinity, so you need to take off the term when n = 0... 1/(2^0) = 1... Therefore 2-1 = 1
.002 + (-1) + 1 = .002
