actually, i was just there end of may/begining of june and i came home ahead!

after you go once and get a players card for a hotel, they send you all kinds of deals for free nights, buffets, n'at. i think the best thing to do is use vegas.com to book. get everything all at once for you first trip. ive stayed at las vegas hilton (a block off the strip), harrahs, and ballys. harrahs and ballys arent four star rooms, but they get it done. you really dont spend much time in your room anyway. i was lucky enought have to the room comped and i think the round trip flight was $280.

i would say, just go where you can afford on the strip. theyre all pretty nice to begin with, and youll probably be jumpin around hotel casinos and what not anyway.

i never really went oustide of vegas, but theres the grand canyon and area 51 tours. my first trip was 5 days and i was able to see most of vegas. just going around through the hotels on the strip is enough to keep you busy. old vegas was also pretty cool. fairmont street is completely covered and every half hour theres a light show on the underside of it. to some it up, its the most ridiculous, over the top stuff you might ever see.

its always an amazing trip, and make sure to stop at the outside bar at harrahs.

If you get the time, visit the Shelby Museum! It's out by the LV Speedway! Original Cobras, GT350s, GT500s, etc.
I lived in Vegas for a couple of years.

get an MGM players club card.

Valley of Fire isn't toooo far from the Shelby plant, that's fun to check out but not if you don't want to hike or anything. If you go to the shelby plant, don't just stop in the showroom and see the 15 cars they have in there, go drive around and see where they're building the super snakes and shit.

Casinos? IDK, doesn't really matter much, I'm not sure what you're looking for. All the modern casinos on the strip are pretty nice, but they all have their own feel to em. And the more expensive the hotel, the more expensive the minimum bet will be on the table games BTW. So don't go to the Wynn and think you're going to be playing $1 poker haha

I like to go to a lot of the shows there, do you have anything you're thinking of seeing or aren't sure of?

where are you thinking of staying? You're going to be doing a LOT of walking if you don't have a car.

Caesars is a really nice place. Hard to make suggestions as to what to do not knowing what you're interested in.
I would however recommend spending a couple of hours sitting on the wall just outside of the Forum Shops at Caesars with a couple of cold ones and do some people watching. There are amazing sites to be seen in Vegas!! Nowhere on the planet is the people watching better!!

    Have fun

Shelby plant tour is a MUST! Tours are every day " I believe" at 10:00 or 11:00 (I would confirm this) Get there an hour early and have breakfast at the Shelby Cafe "a little down the road on the right" It's really cool and the food is good and inexpensive. Vegas speedway is right there and they have driving experiences if you're into beating on race cars!

If you're into amusement park rides hit the Stratosphere! They have a couple of rides that will make you drop a load in your pants! The coaster in NYNY is pretty cool too. Circus Circus has a small park inside also. It's a little dirty but there are rides, though most of them are for children.

If you're into high end night clubs hit the Tryst on a Thursday night at the Wynn. Caution though it's very expensive and very exclusive but if you get in there are all kinds of smoking hot chics in there trying to pick up celebrities. Also in the Wynn is a Ferrari dealership ... if you pay $15 they'll let you walk through and look.

Another must is hitting old Vegas in the evening and seeing the Fremont Street Experience. It's kind of seeding down there so be mindful where you park, walk and your wallet.

I love Vegas .... you can just walk to see all the casino's and you'll be entertained!

    ^ good call, Mark!

Also, from what I've heard, stay the F out of downtown Las Vegas. the strip and downtown are worlds apart, with the strip being the tourist/fun place and downtown being the poverty/get robbed place. YMMV.

completely forgot about the stratosphere rides. i blame being too drunk as my excuse not to go on them, but its still awesome going up to the top of that.

people watchin there is def. the greatest. you'll see some real clowns, but the ladies are top notch! not a big club fan, but i will say coyote ugly at new york, new york was fun. im more of the booze, gamblin, and girls type, so its not hard to please me there.
