    powdercoat or paint??

    What you guys prefer when it comes to changing the colors of rims and things of that such? I have black rims on my buell now

    And i want to change the color to the blue (hero blue) to match the rest of my bike


    This is the look im going for...

    So should i get these painted or powdercoated? And any suggestions where to get it done at?

    Deff powdercoat. paint chips way to easy when you mount new tires on fresh paint.. Eastcoast powdercoating is whre to take your rims too.. they do all my work

    powder coating is way more durable and for rims i would want something that would last for sure so i would powder coat if i were you

    i paint cars... and im 80% sure powder coat is a lot more durable and chip resistant... but its deff always prep work b4 paint no matter what, that makes the difference when it comes to paint adhesion!

    i agree with you 100%...prep work makes or breaks a paint job!

    Throw me a txt ill hook you up on breaking the wheels down and prepped for powdercoating. and reassembly.
