2001 Mustang GT - gone but never forgotten. RIP.
JLTs are probably the biggest dia one you can buy and dont forget to get the inner fenderwell one. There is no point in getting a "cold" air intake if its in the engine bay sucking up warm air
ok thanks guys, another one was the upr products kit which come with under drive pulleys but it doest have a maf with it?
I am running the new JLT carbon fiber RAI kit on my 03 Cobra and it is sweet. The inside matches up to the throttle body exactly and shape/sweep of the bend is about as good as you can get to proved the best flow.
I did research on what kit would fit my needs the best and here is what I found. The sharp bends in the cold air kits create air turbulance and this causes the MAF sensor readings to be off a little depending on the position of the sensor. The down fall of the Ram air setup is that it pulls in hot air from the engine bay but has a much cleaner MAF signal when paired with a heat shield.
