I've gone fishing at the location in the first pic for years. Decades actually. Duck Hollow on the Squirrel Hill side of the High Level Bridge ?
I don't know if it still happens or not, but on a Friday/Saturday night the whole guard rail on top of the wall down there would be lined with people fishing, drinking, and just having a good time.
Made out with a lot of girls down there in the back seat of my car when I was younger.
