Question going 5 lug on the 90gt

i may be swapping to a 5 lug on my gt. what 5 lug rims will bolt on to the new bolt pattern. i believe its 5x4.5 but i see rims saying 94-98 fitment or like 99-04. 05-09 so which ones will work for me?

Pretty much any 94-04 wheel will work for you. The 05+ are a different offset.

you wont be able to use any of the cool wheels if you just swap on lincoln rotors you need to swap sn95 front brakes to be able to fill all of the 5lug wheels.

i did my swap from late model restoration and someone told me i couldnt put cobra wheels on my car with out the spindles from 94+ but i did it! i did have to go to maximum motor sports for a 1/4 inch spacer for the front and i have prob put 18oo miles on it since i did it... so far no problems,

what spindles did you use, if you used 96 and up you are limited to certain backspacing and offset, ive heard the 05+ wheels work better with the modular spindles but youd would have to check to be certain...

the rotors are designed for 87-93 spindles. no need to change spindles.

You will need the spacers if you decide to go with most 5 lug wheels. Your best option is to get 94-95 spindles and you have no limit. Or just get the Lincoln rotors, which are the same ones as the FRPP kit, from NAPA for $25.00 each. Then get the spacers for whatever they cost.

Prolly get them from most junkyards for about $20 for the pair. The Lincolns are usually more plentiful than the 94-95 Mustangs.
