i wasnt bragging up anyones car. 143 mph is very impressive for any car, let alone a 147 cubic inch. i just figured on a mustang forum some one would speak up about being able to beat that. i know i cant, but someone has to be able to.

x2... it should be able to give the srt a good run for its money...

the new owner of my car tells me that its been trapping between 107-109 in the 1/8th every run, which should translate into a similar trap speed as the srt-4 above... but the guy doesn't have a 1/4 mile track in his area, so i don't know how long it'll be til he knows for sure...

You dont need to trap anywhere near 143 to spank that car. A 10.1 ET is pretty pathetic for a 143mph trap speed. That is why it is stupid to build a front wheel drive drag car.

Pretty true, My friends nova although not streetable traps 142-144 runs 9.20's. And it weighs over 3k still. Course now he is finally updating the rear suspension to a 4link so it just may be faster yet.

ive seen that srt in person its full interior so it should weigh 3000 and he drives it to the track and drives it home. i know the et dosnt match the mph but all you guys gotta admit its pretty bad.

Never said it wasn't. I happen to like American car's with Turbo's. It is one sick lil car for sure. I "Hope" to build a nice older muscle car with a turbo motor in it once I get done playing with my truck......So it may be awhile lol.

Your right, very impressive. I just hate when people who don't own the car brag it up. Another pet peeve of mine is comparing apples to oranges, what people should be worring about is cars of the same make and same mods as theirs. Thats where you will see how good you and your car are.
