The imports can cry that they can't race for the plate especially Kurt. But so far I don't see any imports racing in the nhra, ihra, nmca, or the nmra. And all this is about drag racing once someone can show that a an import races in any of those associations then they can race for the plate

It's Phil's plate he can make any ****ing rule he wants no one is forcing any one who doesn't like the rules to race so I don't know why everyone is bitching about it. I have a number of buddies with "import" powered 4cyl rail dragsters in NHRA classes.

There are a number of cars running IHRA classes too, full bodied cars as well as "import" powered dragsters.

I have a Dodge that was made in Illinois (history lesson, that's in the USA) with a motor that's a modern day Hemi, why do I get classed as an "Import" when YOUR car was made in CANADA so why are you allowed to run for the plate?

Made here, parts are made by USA companies, assembled by USA labor, what does YOUR sticker say?

You're just butthurt because what you consider an "import" is at least a full second faster than you and besides the lack of catback exhaust it's still a street car with a TV, power windows, and I even drive it in the rain and snow if I feel like.

adimports are allowed to play also.

OUR RULES:

1. Dig only
2. Heads Up (hope you brought enough)
3. If you chase, its a race (if you think the other guy jumped the start, sit)
4. No lengths (if you're calling somebody out, don't ask for 3 & the hit)
5. 1 person will be there to call it. his decision will be fair & final, no exceptions.
6. Street Car (i know this is a can of worms, but plates, inspection, insurance & DOT tires. don't matter how the car gets to the location or what gas it uses)
7. Does not have to happen in a street race. Can be set up for a track race too this is for the guys who drive for a living like myself.

i think thats simple enough!
