Mine has most of that taken out and my exhaust is different than yours.. The 984s dont have the actuator in the exhaust that you have and honestly if your looking at doing an exhaust dont cheap out like i did and get a drummer or a voodoo pipe..

you ever look at special ops? looks the same as what drummer does except he charges 250 instead of 400?

I honestly just want a little noise. I do not need more power and I DO NOT want to mess with a tune for this thing. All that ecm spy cable laptop BS looks insanely intimidating to me.

Ye ai looked into special ops some people like it and some people dont thats why i said the drummer cause it seems like every buell guy loves the drummer..

You will be fine with just an exhaust, just dont put a new filter like a k&n in it or anything and you will be fine.. You either do one or the other

like special ops or drummer that is a modified stock exhaust.

if I go loud-ass Jardine or D&D, they tell me that flows too much air for stock tune, too.

thanks, that's what I needed. BUT, it won't be till winter because either one of them need your stock core sent to them. This'll be a January/February project.

if you look at that pic, what if there's a way to lock the servo open?

you might lose a little bottom, but you should have more noise.

I don't notice when I get to a certain RPM that the pitch changes at all and I'm certainly not trying to look through the airbox cover to see when that cable starts to move.
